Application of dichloride in anti-shrinkage treatment of wool

Sodium dichloroisocyanurate can be used in swimming pool water treatment and industrial circulating water for algae removal. It is used for disinfection of food and tableware, preventive disinfection of families, hotels, hospitals, and public places; except for environmental disinfection of breeding places such as fish farming, sericulture, livestock, and poultry. SDIC can also be used for washing and bleaching of textiles, anti-shrinkage of wool, anti-moth of paper, chlorination of rubber, battery materials, etc.

Next, Yuncang chemicals manufacture will tell you about the application of SDIC in wool anti-shrinkage.

Sodium dichloroisocyanurate aqueous solution can evenly release hypochlorous acid, which will interact with the protein molecules in the wool scale layer and destroy some bonds in the wool protein molecules, thereby preventing shrinkage. In addition, the use of sodium dichloroisocyanurate solution to treat wool products can also prevent wool from sticking during washing, that is, the occurrence of “pilling”. The shrink-resistant wool has almost no shrinkage, bright color and good hand feeling; use 2%~3% sodium dichloroisocyanurate solution and add other additives to impregnate wool or wool blended fibers and fabrics , can make wool and its products not pilling, not felting.

Typical recipes are:

(1) 0.5 parts of sodium dichloroisocyanurate (mass, the same below), 0.15 parts of acetic acid, 0.02 parts of wetting agent,

600 parts of water, 200 parts of wool fabric, soaking time at room temperature is 0.5h;

(2) 0.5 parts of sodium dichloroisocyanurate, over

0.15 parts of oxyacetic acid, 0.02 parts of wetting agent, 600 parts of water, and 200 parts of wool fabric.

The above is the application of dichloride in the anti-shrinkage of wool. As a relatively common disinfectant, dichloride has many uses. This chemical is dangerous during transportation, so be careful. Use in accordance with the instructions during use.
